Demonstrating Artist

Booth #123 & 124

I didn’t plan on becoming a chainmaille jeweler — it found me. What started as a simple tutorial in a beading magazine quickly became an obsession. The rhythmic, almost meditative process of weaving tiny jump rings into intricate designs captivated me, and soon, I was crafting necklaces, bracelets, pendants, and earrings that blended ancient techniques with modern style.
A self-taught artist, I honed my skills through online tutorials and countless hours of experimentation. Over time, I began developing my own weaves, patterns, and designs, pushing the boundaries of traditional chainmaille. But I didn’t stop there!
Armed with a butane torch, I began fusing Argentium® silver wire and sheet metal, merging chainmaille with contemporary silverwork to create jewelry that is both timeless and wearable.
My designs are made to outlast trends. They’re versatile, elegant, and effortlessly stylish — perfect for those moments when you want to make a statement but aren’t sure what to wear.
THE ART OF CHAINMAILLE AND FUSED SILVER
I primarily work with Argentium® silver, along with yellow and rose gold-filled metal, all of which are nickel-free and hypoallergenic.
Each piece of chainmaille jewelry begins with raw wire, which I carefully hand-coil and cut into jump rings. Then, using two pairs of precision pliers, I weave these tiny rings into mesmerizing patterns, employing the same techniques that blacksmiths once used to forge protective armor in medieval times.
For my fused silver designs, I start with a sketch, then arrange pieces of silver wire and sheet metal before using a butane torch to meld them together. I often incorporate chainmaille elements into my fused pieces, ensuring my signature style shines through.
Some designs are textured with a hammer, while others take on fluid, sculptural form — each one finished with a high-polish tumble for a radiant shine.
With every piece I create, I bring history, craftsmanship, and artistry into the present — turning ancient techniques into modern treasures.
