In Hawaii, in the 70’s, Nels Johnson saw people selling candles outdoors under a tree. He wondered if he could sell his photos like that as well. Forty-two years later, he is living his dream.
When shooting, Nels looks for strong lines and color in architecture. He uses an extreme wide angle lens as he photographs. He prints all his photos on paper and frames them under glass.
