Matthew loves animals, especially insects, as well as fantasy. He describes his designs as celebrations of the amazing creation of the Great Creator who has made us and surrounded us with ridiculous variety and beauty. Matthew, like many others he knows, sees himself as a sub-creator; one who is like a little boy showing his work to his father and reveling in the attention his father gives him.

He sees his writing in the exact same way. Matthew sells hand-designed (no computers used in process) and hand-screened t-shirts and other apparel using exclusively water-based inks. He also sells self-published novels.
