Janet Graham first learned how to work with metal in junior high school and fell in love with it. She then studied metal work in college, and has since periodically taken additional classes. Working as a school librarian, Janet doesn’t have much time during the school year to create art. She looks forward to her summer studio time as it is her main time to create, explore and learn new skills.
Janet creates metal jewelry using silver, copper, aluminum and brass. She also dissects owl pellets and adds the bones to her jewelry. She enjoys designing organic shapes and take clues from nature.
