Duane Bastian has been an artist working in clay for over 50 years. Nature has been an inspiration for his work. He desires to encourage people to pay attention to nature; therefore, his nature series is designed for that purpose. His current series of animals is designed to make people smile, so he calls them “Smiles”.
Duane’s works are made from thrown and slab building techniques. He then glazes all creations.
