As the 10th anniversary approaches for Artalicious fine arts fair, the event continues to grow in all aspects. We are looking forward to celebrating a decade of showcasing great art as well and as we prepare for that milestone, we’re also announcing a new look.
After nine years, the Artalicious planning committee decided it was time for a new logo to capture how the event has evolved and its direction in the coming years. “It fully represents the visual and fine arts that are the drivers of Artalicious,” commented Don Taylor, Artalicious committee chairman. “In order to reach our target market, we have to adapt and appeal to what they would like to see. We are hoping that the new logo will help us further attract the audiences that have been the focus of our marketing efforts.”
The logo can have many interpretations that play to the works of art people will see at Artalicious. The script font evokes the look of an artist’s signature. The simple circle can refer to a brush stroke, a camera lens, a sculpted relief, or a form on the potter’s wheel. The overall design was intended to capture three key words used to describe the event: eclectic, exciting, and rewarding.
“We’re excited for this new logo to better showcase the atmosphere at the event and attract art-lovers from Lenawee county and well beyond,” said Molly Mason, Creative Director at Hoyden Creative Group. “It raises the bar for attendees’ expectations of the event, and that will help Artalicious meet its goal of being the premiere fine arts fair in the region.”
