Hometown: Adrian, MI
Richard Brzezicki is a resident of Adrian, Michigan and enjoys working with both realist and abstract subjects using the medium of stained glass, copper foil, rocks, wire and re-purposed items such as burned out light bulbs. He specializes in sun catchers and glass critters but also makes unique one of a kind glass panels and custom orders including kaleidoscopes. He developed his interest by taking an adult education class about 30 years ago and has been learning new techniques ever since.
Doris Brzezicki enjoys working with a variety of fibers including wool, silk, and blended acrylics in eclectic colors and textures. She utilizes nubby, boucle, hand spun, and hand painted yarns. Doris began weaving on the triangle loom over 20 years ago after a friend encouraged her to demonstrate weaving at the Lenawee County Heritage Festival as a Lost Art. Since then, she has demonstrated at many local events and taught classes at the Mid Ohio Fiber Festival.
