Pat Cooper, a graduate of Kendall College of Art and Design in Grand Rapids, works mostly in water-based media, watercolor and acrylic. He adds dimension and whimsical variations in his pieces. Growing up in Detroit during the Motown years plus extensive world travel have helped to mold these colorful visions he creates. Cooper says, “Art has always been part of my life. My paintings are about what I like and what I see at the moment.”
He invites others to share the experience of original, affordable art. His “1937 Buffalo Nickel” acrylic painting was exhibited in ArtPrize 2015. He will again be participating in upcoming ArtPrize 2017.
