After a battle with cancer in 2008, Mary Kondraciuk began painting as a way to regain cognitive skills. That exercise segued into photography. The camera allows her to express her renewed appreciation for simple beauty. The use of color and composition can create a calming and reflective vision which can be quite therapeutic in today’s stressful world. Mary’s collection consists of abstract and contemporary photographs on canvas. Using a variety of lenses, she has captured unusual and sometimes ethereal views of everyday scenes and items. The enlarged images are serene and immersive. She hopes to bring a refreshing glimpse to viewers and surprise them with a new perspective.
Mary’s primary collection consists of abstract and contemporary photographs on unframed canvas wrapped on hard wood stretcher bars. Close-ups with macro lenses and unique angles present often overlooked details and a new view of everyday items. She is also selling canvas prints on reclaimed wood panels, matted prints, and note cards All items are individually hand signed and printed by experienced, professional print-houses.
