Bio: I started working as a full time career potter in 1984. Most of my work is wheel thrown with white high fire stoneware clay. I have an original technique in which I draw freehand my designs, carve them and then paint them as a painter would. Each piece is unique. I also use natural wildflowers pressed into the clay combined with textured objects. My work is coordinated and flows together with the use of only one or two primary glazes for the main structure. Most pieces are one of a kind and are functional as well as decorative.
